I realized recently that it's been forever since we judged a book by its cover! A few years ago I read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and really enjoyed it. It's fairly rare that I enjoy such a hyped book (I'm looking at you The Paris Wife), and I also liked the cover. Actually, that's mostly why I read it - because I was working at Bookmans when it was huge and popular, and I had to stock a zillion copies a week, and I decided that the cover and title were intriguing enough that I had to go for it.
