Juliet (& a giveaway!)

Juliet is already 8 days old! She did some tough biceps work in her gym yesterday.

Big sister Eleanor has been 'reading' her books before bed at night - and I swear Juliet listens.

When we first told Eleanor that we were going to name the baby Juliet, she said "Like Romeo and Juliet!"

Before you nominate me for either Best Mother Award or Most Pretentious Mother Award (depending on your point of view); Eleanor followed it up with, "Just like in my book!" and ran and grabbed her Romeo and Juliet book, which I've blogged about before. She loves reading it even more now; and tells Juliet "This book has your name in it!"

I decided to contact the publisher to see if they'd be willing to give away some more Baby Lit awesomeness in honor of Juliet's birth, and they were!

So one of you will win a three-pack of literature for your baby: Romeo & Juliet, Jane Eyre, and Moby Dick!

I wasn't paid or perked for this - in fact I'm a little sad that one of you will own Jane Eyre and Moby Dick, because I want both of those! I've gotten a lot of baby gifts lately though; time to share the wealth.

To enter to win: leave a comment on this post telling me what other classic books you'd like to see in baby form, by Wednesday 10/30. Email subscribers: you need to click through and leave a comment on this actual post. Generic "Love it!" or "Cute books!" comments won't be counted as entries... I'll announce the winner sometime after Halloween, and then contact you for your shipping info.

Update 11/1 -- and the winner is commenter #16, Kristin, who'd like to see a baby version of Anne of Green Gables! Congrats Kristin, I'll be contacting you soon!
