Short & Tweet: What I've Been Reading, and What's Up Next

It's been a while since I did tweet reviews of what I've been reading. My book list is not super long, but hey, at least I'm managing some reading these days!

Here's what I've read in the last ten days-ish.
  • One Summer by Bill Bryson // Learned so much about 1920s politics, baseball, aviation, eugenics, Prohibition, etc. Seriously, Bryson gets better and better. #authorcrush
  • Ottolenghi by Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi // Perfect timing to review this, since it's full of delish Mediterranean recipes & Juliet apparently wants me to be dairy-free. Gorgeous pics.
  • Toro Bravo by John Gorham and Liz Crain // Part Gorham bio, part history of Toro Bravo the restaurant (in Portland), part Spanish-inspired cookbook. Not quite my style.
  • 101 Days of Christmas by Mandi Ehman // Mandi & I had babies a week apart, and we share a love of Christmas! This e-book is great if you're looking for new crafts/recipes.
  • Over Sea, Under Stone by Susan Cooper // Missing the Raven Boys, so started rereading these. Read 'em last in 2008, every 5 years seems about right. Love those Drew kids!
Here's what's next!
  • The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper // Ditto the above. Love the Christmas setting of this one - although Tucson's weather is not helping my holiday spirit. #7monthsofsummer #boo
  • Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo // YA fantasy set in an imperial Russia-esque land. Recommended by Kim from Sophisticated Dorkiness, excited to try it.
  • Bellman & Black by Diane Setterfield. I LOVED The Thirteenth Tale on audio, so I am waiting impatiently for this one to come in at the library.

How often do you re-read your favorites?
