The problem with being excessively excited about the new book in a series, is that sometimes delivery trucks fall over in Pennsylvania, and pre-ordered copies don't arrive. And then the copy you'd requested from the library as back-up takes 12 days to show up in the library system. And then once you do get your hands on a copy of it, the baby inserts herself between you and your book at every opportunity.
But I finally managed to finish it. And it was SO VERY GOOD. Now to wait for another whole year for book four in the Raven Cycle!
