New on the Stack: What I'm Looking Forward to Reading

Sheila from the Deliberate Reader is starting a new monthly link-up! I decided to join in this month, and share the books that I've recently borrowed/acquired. (But while I'm speaking of link-ups, the next #bookwormproblems link-up is this Friday!)

Back to what I'm looking forward to reading though...

The Soul of Discretion by Susan Hill
Where I got it: the publisher
Why: I'm going to be interviewing Susan for Shelf Awareness, so her publisher sent me a few of her titles to familiarize myself with.

The Best Medicine by Tracy Brogan
Where I got it: Amazon lending library
Why: I borrowed the first Bell Harbor romance last month and it was a lot of fun, so I'm reading the second one now.

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce
Where I got it: Bought it in an Audible sale.
Why: I've been meaning to read it for ages, and the price was finally right.

Surprised by Motherhood by Lisa-Jo Baker
Where I got it: the library.
Why: From the description, Lisa-Jo sounds a lot like me. She never wanted kids, but ended up surprised by how much she liked being a mother. I've read some of her blog posts, and I like her style, so I hope the book will be good.

The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan
Where I got it: bought it on Amazon
Why: Because I desperately want to finish the series. But I bought it almost FOUR weeks ago with my birthday money, and I still haven't found time to sit and read it, since I'm trying to keep ahead on books-for-review and books-due-at-the-library. Sigh.
