I shared the photo above on the Quirky Bookworm Facebook page a couple of weeks ago. It's basically the best thing ever, right??
It led me to a blog entitled Reading Rambo, which is leading a readalong of Harry Potter right now... which I am oh-so-tempted to join even though I just re-read them in 2011, and I'm already falling horribly behind on my plan for Anna Karenina. But I keep learning such fun things -- like that Mrs. Norris the cat was named after the awful aunt from Mansfield Park!
Participating in the HP readalong is Raych of books i done read; who uses GIFs in such a hysterical way. I need to up the GIF factor around here I think, I love her posts.
Quirky Bookworm's spring sponsor is Barefoot Books - Eleanor adores several of their books, especially Listen, Listen. If you use this link to shop the site, you'll get a 20% discount on some wonderful kids' books!
Jill from Rhapsody in Books read Orson Scott Card's Pathfinder so that you don't have to. But you might want to read her review of it... because it's really, really funny. And the time traveling quotes from the book make my head hurt.
Speaking of time traveling, I'm listening to 11/22/63 on audio and loving it. I never thought I'd say those words about a Stephen King book... but there it is.
What fun book stuff have you encountered lately?
